A healthcare system is how health coverage is distributed throughout a country. Here in America we have privatized Health care. Which means it is very expensive and not everyone is covered. Countries like England have single payer, where everyone gets the same accsess to coverage for no cost or a reduced price.

----------Answer---------

In addition to above, there are countries in the world that have private health insurances, but it's regulated. For example, the Netherlands, which has no government run health care, but the government does mandate that all have to have health care. This way, the risk is spread out with everybody and lower the total cost for all. It's kind of like why everybody who has a car has to have car insurance. Since we all need our health, it would make sense to require every to buy into the health insurance pool. For some reason, the many are against this idea. There are many way to provide health care around the world. The critics only like to point to Canada and England where there is government run system. If you look into it, many other systems are nothing like that and they can still control cost and provide care to their citizens better than we can. However, keep in mind, there is no perfect system. There will always be somebody who won't be happy with whatever system we have.
