Any complex carbs are fine, though they should still be eaten in moderation. Some examples are oatmeal (not the individual instant packets, though, they have a lot of added sugar), 100% whole wheat breads and pastas, brown rice, and sweet potatoes.
Carbohydrates are not good for people with Diabetes. Carbohydrates raises blood sugar levels and forces the body to release insulin. People with diabetes are unable or only able to produce small amounts of insulin and their blood sugar will therefor stay elevated which will cause the body a lot of damage.
The only reason to why carbohydrates would be good for a person with diabetes if that person has injected too much insulin and therefor lowered their blood sugar level too much.
