Try Crysis (probably the most like Halo), Counter-Strike (You might not like it if you're a diedard Halo fan. Its insanely realistic, i.e. low health, headshots are 1-shot kills with any gun, etc.), the Battlefield games, Call of Duty, etc.

both games are good don't get me wrong. but if you're a big Halo fan like me then HELL YEAH!

I would buy Halo if you have not already played it however if you just want it to see games you've already beat in better graphics I do not believe that is a good idea and would go battle field both are strong games but I personally am a bigger fan of the halo franchise

Although Halo 3 doesn't quite match up to the groundbreaking achievements of Halo: Combat Evolved and Halo 2, Halo 3 is an excellent game. Halo 3 has an awesome storyline and an award winning multiplayer mode with a wide variety of maps, weapons and new and improved vehicles. Halo 3 also has tons of download-able content available on the Xbox Live Marketplace.

Given that the Halo Universe is just that, a complex fictional universe with fan-fiction, books, guides, characters, and many games, you could say that there aren't different "gens" of Halo. If there were "gens" of Halo, then it wouldn't follow a story-line as the franchise does, each game would simply be a revamped version of it's predecessor. But, if you combined all of the different games, which are different points in Halo's history, you would simply get the Halo storyline.

You can't, it is a mature game and naturally has a few swear words, but they aren't bad, I'm Halo's biggest fan and I know that the only swear words are b*stard and c*ap etc. Nothing terrible, and they rarely show up. If you don't want any swearing at all, play PG or G games, until the person is old enough to play M/MA games.
