What is a little stronger than norco 10?
norco 10 is the maximum dose of hydrocodone without tylenol the tylenol usually makes hydrocodone work a little better but doctors prescribe norco if someone has to take quite a bit cause too much tylenol is bad on kidneys anything over 2000mg a day. the stronger would be oxycodone or percocet.
After discussing them with an orthopedic physician and pharmacist, it was learned that Norco brand (with 7.5 or 10 mg of hydrocodone) is a few grams stronger than Vicodin brand (with 5 mg of hydrocodone). While they are both hydrocodone and acetaminophen, Norco contains more Hydrocodone and less acetaminophen, giving you more of the opiate pain relief which is the major reliever in these two medications.
Norco is a name brand it comes in 5/325 or 10/325 Percocet comes in the same but it is much stronger I have been on it for more then 3 yrs and have had just about all of them Ive found it works longer but for you it may be different you just need to find something that works best for you and not worry about if one is stronger then the other "Get something…
no. norco is hydrocodone not morphine. morphine is stronger however norco 10/325 is the strongest dose of norco. Norco is for moderate pain and morphine for moderate to severe pain. ER also means extended release where norco is not extended. Please be aware that norco has acetaminophen in it which you should never exceed 4000mg\24 hours.
They are the same. Both have the same amount of Hydrocodone. The only difference is that Vicodin has 300mg more Acetaminophen. Acetaminophen compliments the effect of Hydrocodone, so it can feel stronger but is worse for your liver. 675mg is nothing to worry about but go with the Norco for recreation. Acetaminophen gets dangerous around 2,000mg at once; 4,000mg in a day.
This is a complicated question. Both have the same amount of hydrocodone (10mg) but Vicodin has more acetaminophen (Tylenol). Norco has 325mg Tylenol while Vicodin has 500mg. The FDA is considering making all hydrocodone/acetaminophen combinations limited to 500mg acetaminophen because it is toxic to the liver, especially when mixed with alcohol.
Norco has the same narcotic in it as Vicodin. Hydrocodone is the narcotic in brand name drugs such as Vicodin, Norco and Lortab (as well as others). The strength of each of these can vary. Usually Norco has 7.5 - 10 mg of hydrocodone with anywhere from 325-750mg of acetaminophen (Tylenol). If you want to know the strength of your Norco / Vicodin, look for the area on your bottle or Rx that says something…
I take Norco 10/325s and therefore I get tested pretty regularly. I can tell you that on a 10 or even 5 panel screen Norco will ALWAYS be an opiate. Heroin is the same as Morphine basically and comes up as synthetic morphine. And if it isn't supposed to be there they send it out to check it closer and will know if it's morphine or heroine. Hope this helps a little!
