What is a molar ratio?
A comparison of the number of moles of one substance in a
chemical equation. For example,
Na2CO3 + 2KCl -----> 2NaCl + K2CO3
The ratio of sodium carbonate to potassium chloride to sodium
chloride to potassium carbonate is is 1:2:2:1.
A Mole Ratio is a conversion factor that relates the amounts in
moles of any two substances involved in a chemical reaction.
