A comparison of the number of moles of one substance in a

chemical equation. For example,

Na2CO3 + 2KCl -----> 2NaCl + K2CO3

The ratio of sodium carbonate to potassium chloride to sodium

chloride to potassium carbonate is is 1:2:2:1.

A Mole Ratio is a conversion factor that relates the amounts in

moles of any two substances involved in a chemical reaction.
