What is a slight engine knock after shut down on a 1992 Acura Integra?

Sounds more like a run on, if this is after you shut off the car. Could just be some carbons, i'd clean out the carb/manifold with some spray cleaner or just pick up some fuel cleaner.

Usually a bottom end bearing problem mostly caused by lack of oil changes or high mileage on engine. You can try to replace the bearings but usually it's a temporary fix at best as there is probably crankshaft wear.

LS does not have a knock sensor. GSR does have a knock sensor

The knock sensor is located under the intake manifold on the passenger side of the engine. It can be accessed from under the vehicle. Look above and to the slight left of the oil filter on the back of the engine. The knock sensor will resemble a small battery terminal with a bolt through to the engine.

The knock sensor just advances and retards the engine timing only. If there is a noise in the engine then you have engine are valve train problems. The knock sensor will not make the engine knock.
