"Bound" will do on its own; "bound together" can be considered

The Oxford English Thesaurus gives me the following

tie (up), fasten (together), hold together, secure, make fast,

attach; rope, strap, lash, fetter, truss, hog-tie,tether. ANTONYMS

untie, release.

constrain, restrict, restrain, trammel, tie hand and foot, tie

down, fetter, shackle, hog-tie;hamper, hinder, inhibit.

Yes, these are for two different definitions of the word, but

similar definitions.

Hope this helps!
