There does not seem to be a finite answer.
I have read ranges from 120 to 160
I think you have to make a personal diagnosis based on
your own thoughts on your health.
Personally I am an 84 year old asthmatic with a variable
pressure of 135 to 155 but if I feel Ok then that is it.
Can any Medic of a similar age prove me wrong?
The top number should be no higher than 140 and the lower number no higher than 90.
Anything over 140/80 (systolic/diastolic) would cause concern but if yours is actually below 140 without the help of drugs then it would be almost miraculous.
At 72 my average BP is 127 over 72. Is this OK?
132/70
138/76
128/28
my BP is 117/80
Under 150, lower no. 85
148/80
yes, a blood pressure reading of 122 over 88 is great for a 47 year old male. If you are having issues with the blood pressure going up at times, speak with your doctor.
Generally speaking, when a female takes the blood pressure of a male, the reading is elevated.
The blood pressure, 148/88 is considered to be high, stage 1.
yes it is
A correct blood pressure reading consists of 2 index numbers, namely a systolic, and a diastolic number. Your diastolic number(s) seem pretty low, especially for a systolic of 108, and a bad reading is suspected.
These numbers show high blood pressure for a 43 year old male. Blood pressure is as follows for men: Minimum 112 over 79 Average 125 over 83 Maximum 137 over 87
Normal blood pressure for anyone is 120/80
