What is an atmosphere?

Not to be confused with "the atmosphere", an atmosphere is a unit of measurement. It is used to measure Air Pressure. One atmosphere is equivalent to 101,325 Pascals.
More generally, however, an atmosphere is the more or less permanent layer of gases that surround most, but not all, planets. -Atomosphere is layer of gases that is surrounding the earth or any other planet held with the help of gravity. -Atmosphere is also referred to a place's mood or overall tone.
