In this model of Winchester rifle, there is no difference in value between the round or octagon barrel.
About $400-$450, dependng on condition. Octagonal barrel indicates made before WW II, changed to round barrel after the war.
what is age of wichester model 90 hex barrel shots shorts serial number 761031
In the condition you describe,I would say that its value will be between 400-550 dollars.
Your Winchester was made in 1951, but see my answer to the related question linked at the right about finding the value. >>>>
$300-$400. sales@countrygunsmith.net
No way to answer without knowing who made it, finish, overall condition, box, papers, accessories, etc...
It's probably a Model 12-A, by that serial no it was made in 1927 and will have the barrel codes stamped to determine month as well. However the value of a model 12 is GREATLY dependent on condition with the 95%+ condition examples comprising of the top 2/3 of the 200-1,200 (as NIB).
good condition.....about $3200.00
Requires professional appraisal
You must first conclude which model that you have.Navy arms made a model 73 carbine(19in round barrel)24in barrel is the rifle model.then they made the 1873 border model with a 20in.octagon barrel.the border model deluxe with added features. The deluxe model 1873 has a case hardened receiver, lever and hammer checkered pistol grip and choice of barrel length-24in.or 30in.And last the model 1873 deluxe sporting long range with 30in barrel and rear tang sight. All these have specific values and the condition of your rifle will determine the value also. This is the amount of original finish remaining on the wood and metal bore condition etc.
About 1937, but really depends on the model.
