It stands for Electronic Control Module. It is located on the distributor & controls the fuel/air mix, idle setting etc.
Where is the ecm fuse on a 1994 chevy truck
FUBAR the ECM..$$$$$$$
No you can not , That is what makes and keeps the engine running
It is under the hood on the drive side. It has fins and is black
behind and above the glovebox
Pull the liner out of the glove box, it is behind and a bit down from there...
Behind the passenger side kick panel.
you can not turn off the governor you can have a new computer chip installed in the ecm and the truck will go alittle faster
It will be inside the glove box to the right. You will have to remove the glove box.
There is no inertia switch on the Chevy truck it runs from the ecm , oil pressure switch and relay.
dont know about the emissions stuff but if your planning to swap engines the ECM will also have to be switched as the 267 ECM will not work on the 305
NO it will not. You MUST have a 1983 ECM/computer that is programed for that make a model car.
