Why Muslims not celebrate valantine's day?
It depends on how religiously identified one's Islam is. For
most people, Christians, pagans, and agnostics, Valentine's Day is
just a pleasant social occasion. For some, however, it's all
fraught with celebrations of sexual love, which is frightening to
the ultra-religious who think that pleasure in anything earthly
pulls people away from the faith. Someone who is only Muslim as a
consequence of birth in an Islamically-ruled country, but doesn't
pray of fast or hadj could go ahead a enjoy Valentine's Day as a
secular celebration. A devout Muslim, however, would run the risk
of being persecuted by his fellow believers for apotasy.
