What is arora caste?
Arora are Kshatriya
Arora is a caste and a surname, the Arora fall into Kshatriya in
the caste system, hence many claim to be Khatri(maybe a Punjabi
dialect for the word Kshatriya).
Many Khatri's consider Arora a separate caste. Arora's are Kshatriya and mainly belong to westernPunjab, however today live in mostly Northern India region.
Today both Khatri and Arora are an urban class that inter marry and live in close proximity to each other.
The Arora caste are a distinct group not to be mistaken with Khatri who also claim to be Kshatriya, however, both of these castes are separate to Bania's.
Arora Sikhs normally come from industrialists and trader Sikh community now vs. Jatts who are usually agriculturists.
