fever is best reduced by aspirin as it dilates the vascular system and helps dissipate heat, it also works on the part of the brain that regulates your body temperature, bringing your fever more into check than any other pain reliever.

They are equally effective. However, if one has worked better than the other in the past, use that one. If the child is vomiting, Tylenol suppositories are better. Also, if a child is nauseous, Tylenol is gentler on the stomach.
There is emerging evidence that Advil is slightly better, but the jury is still way out on that.
I don't find it to work as well as Tylenol.
i would say ibuprofen because tylenol you have to take over and over and over it makes you sick (trust me i found that out the hard way havent taken the since)
tylonal
i would say Tylenol, but that's just me. i have been buying Tylenol for years and it never let me down.
Ibuprofen would be closest, but aspirin is better
yes it is
No. Tylenol contains a pain reliever known as Acetaminophen. Advil contains an NSAID known as Ibuprofen. Advil is better for inflammatory pains such as sinus headaches, arthritis, and swollen injuries. Tylenol is better for relieving fever, the common cold, and toothaches. Acetaminophen is the activate chemical in Tylenol that causes damage to your liver which is not in ibuprofen

Answering "Can you take Tylenol sinus with ibuprofen?"Answering "Can you take Tylenol sinus with ibuprofen?"Yes, infact Ibuprofen and pseudoephedrine (the medical ingredient in Tylenol sinus) are often used together in medicine such as Advil cold & sinus, Children's Motrin, and others.
Since Darvocet has Tylenol in it, you cannot take them within 4 hours of each other. Try alternating Darvocet with ibuprofen - take the ibuprofen every 6 to 8 hours, and if you need Darvocet, take it at least 3 hours after the ibuprofen. That way, you won't get too much Tylenol, but it will relieve your pain better.
Yes. Tylenol is just the brand name. Ibuprofen is Motrin and Advil. Acetaminophen is Tylenol.
They are both pain-killers, but Tylenol and ibuprofen does not belong to the same drug group. Tylenol is analgesic, but Ibuprofen is non steroidal anti inflammatory drug (which means that, beside pain killing, it is blocking inflammation, too).
Yes, but if there is swelling ibuprofen would work better because it is an anti-inflammatory drug.
