White tea is a type of true tea (from the tea plant, Camellia sinensis) which is minimally processed. White tea is usually considered as a category of its own, alongside green and black teas.
There is no agreed-upon definition of white tea, but one defining distinction between white tea and green tea is usually that white tea is allowed to wither or dry naturally, rather than being steamed or pan-fired to stop oxidation. This is why white tea has a more muted color, in contrast to the bright green color of green tea.

Black tea, also known as red tea was originally made in China. It is generally stronger and contains more caffeine then less oxidized teas like white and green. A good thing about black tea is that it can be stored several years compared to other teas which can only be stored for up to one year.

It is said to improve the skin, cure acne, and help lower cholesterol, fight diseases and even cancer. The difference between white tea and other teas is in its great quality. All teas from Camilla sinensis are said to be very beneficial to health, but white tea tops them all.
