there is no black hole, but a thinning of the ozone levels over the Antarctic every winter. This has been happening for centuries due to a lack of sunlight hitting the oxygen in the area. Because ozone decays so quickly, sunlight must hit oxygen to create more ozone or the thinning occurs. The hole disappears once sunlight hits the area.

∙ 13y agoNo, a black hole is caused by a massive star dying out. An ozone hole is caused by air pollution. They are two different things. (lol, I know about this because I'm learning it in Science class!) ;)

∙ 10y agoThere is not actually a hole in the ozone layer. It is just thinning of ozone below a certain concentration. This ozone hole however can cause various problems like skin cancer, eye cataract etc.
