Space occupied by a dead star. ______________ Surely you can come up with a more complex question than that! See links for a start. From the excellent Wikipedia article: While general relativity describes a black hole as a region of empty space with a pointlike singularity at the center and an event horizon at the outer edge, the description changes when the effects of quantum mechanics are taken into account. Research on this subject indicates that, rather than holding captured matter forever, black holes may slowly leak a form of thermal energy called Hawking radiation. However, the final, correct description of black holes, requiring a theory of quantum gravity, is unknown.

There is no concept to a natural occurance like a black hole. It's existence is far beyond our mortal contemplations.

Is there a Hyper black hole?

Define a "hyper black hole". A "Hyper Black Hole" is a massive "Black hole" thought to be created by many Black holes merging together. Theological Physics now believe that most galaxies, including our own Milky Way, have a "Hyper Black Hole" in the center

What is the densist star known to man?

A "black hole" may be the most dense object. The problem with a black hole is that our mathematical understanding of physics breaks down at the event horizon of a black hole, and we don't know about anything inside.

Has there ever been a black hole and what does it do?

yes, there is actually a giant black hole in the center of our galaxy, but don't worry because we are safely orbiting around it. A black hole is basically really really really dense material, which forms a blob where the gravitational pull is so stong nothing can escape it, not even light. It can also bend the laws of physics

Can a robot go into a black hole?

Yes, a robot could go into a black hole; pretty much any object you could name would be able to go into a black hole, although it would be unable to exit. It would not be a useful exercise to send a probe into a black hole for purposes of obtaining information since, even if it survived the extreme conditions near a black hole in order enter one, effects predicted by physics would prevent it from communicating from within - even light would not be able to escape past the event horizon from inside.

How does the black hole relate to physics?

A black hole relates to physics, because it "bends" the laws of physics. Noone really knows what a black hole does. It bends the law of gravitation (a black hole has way too much gravity).

Can the center of a black hole be determined and if so does this not violate the laws of physics?

In theory yes. A black hole is assumed to be a somewhat spherical shape, so using geometry you could find the center. From what we think we know about black holes, yes they violate the laws of physics from the moment the event horizon (the boundary) passed.

What is singularity in physics?

In Physics, singularity is a point at which a function takes an infinite value, especially in space-time when matter is infinitely dense, as at the center of a black hole.

What are some controversies regarding black holes?

Because the physics within a black hole is so extreme, current theories can't really describe in detail what goes inside a black hole, especially near the singularity.
