The diffrence bettwen a butterfly and a criket is that crikets can't fly or eat nector and butterflies can only eat nector but they can fly but the only thing that they have in comon is that they have 6 legs.
Butterflies and grasshoppers have similarly structured heads. However the head of a grasshopper is more armored than the head of a butterfly.
A grasshopper molts their skin, a butterfly morphs, it changes it's body and genetic make up, something that rarely is seen in other species.
nothing
The difference between a locust and a katydid is a locust is short horned grasshopper. A katydid is a long horned grasshopper, or what is known as just a grasshopper.
the difference of this is that the cockroach has a wing and can fly while the grasshopper does'nt have a wing but it can jump high. Grasshoppers are found in the grass & the cockroaches are found in a dirty places.
Sounds to me like it'd be the length of their horns that is the difference.
With the grasshopper the eggs hatch into animals that look like little adults. With butterflies the immature animals look nothing like the adult and live of different food. Also there is a "pupal" phase between the caterpillar and the butterfly.
The kind of bug that looks like a grasshopper with a stinger is most likely a camel cricket. Camel crickets like a damp habitat and are omnivores.
There is not really a big difference between butterfly and insects. Butterflies are actually just a species of flying insects.
The biggest difference is that a bee flies and a grasshopper can only jump. Also, a bee has a stinger and a grasshopper does not.
The grasshopper does not undergo complete metamorphosis
powdery one is the moth
Sounds to me like it'd be the length of their horns that is the difference.
It smaller and they eat different foods
well the butterfly is a butterfly and the bird is a bird, it is prett obvious really!
