"controlled" is a term that just means you need a script to get it, "Schedule I-V" mean that they have a potential for abuse or addiction and therefore carry criminal charges when abused, or if the same script is attained through multiple doctors at the same time. (doctor shopping) basically: controlled means it's too unsafe for unsupervised OTC consumption. Scheduled means the DEA is watching it and if you screw with those YOU WILL GET ARRESTED. AND FAST.
Restricted drugs are similar to narcotics in that they cannot legally be in a person's possession without a prescription, and so unlawful possession is an offence.
Controlled drugs is the maximum sentence provided for trafficking or possession for that purpose of trafficking in a restricted drugs the same as that provided for controlled drugs as well.
Controlled drugs are drugs that have a known medical application and are available by prescription from a doctor, but have a high potential for abuse or misuse and/or a high potential for addiction, and therefore they are closely monitored.
Some drugs have absolutely no medical application and therefore they are outright illegal, such as heroin.
Prohibited drugs cannot be had under any circumstances, regulated ones may be had with the permission of a doctor under certain circumstances.
Drugs that are addictive and tend to be abused and dangerous (e.g., depressants, stimulants, psychedelics, and narcotics) are classified as "controlled drugs".
Prescriptions are drugs. Taking drugs is done by abusing controlled substances, or by taking a prescribed medication as directed. In short, there is no difference, other than the intention of the user.
Prescription meds are almost always a stronger milligram/dose. Prescription drugs are usually in a class 2 category, a greater risk of addiction. Class 2 drugs are always controlled and monitored.

Most simply, they are two different drugs. Concerta is a sustained-release formulation of methylphenidate, and Adderall XR is an extended-release formulation of a mixture of amphetamine salts. It's like the difference between Ritalin and Adderall, which are the immediate-release forms. Both drugs are stimulants, usually prescribed for ADD/ADHD. Methylphenidate is said to not be as strong a stimulant as amphetamine, but is still controlled as tightly.
The basic difference between these two drug is that desloratadine is major metabolite of loratadine. But this difference does not make any significant variation in effectiveness between these two drugs.
