Definition: The movement of particles from a higher concentration to a lower concentration is known as diffusion.

For Example: When a perfume bottle is spilt,the smell of the perfume can reach from one end of the room to another. This is because the particles from the higher concentration(Near the perfume bottle)move to the lower concentration of the room (The other end of the room with less perfume particles).
