Correction to above.

An additive system would give you a shade of orange: red is 100% red, orange is maybe 75% red, 25% green, yellow is 50% red, 50% green, so you have about 225% red, 75% green. Forcing the red value to 50%, the green is about (75/225), or about 33% green.
