This growth in economic prosperity after the Irish government offered a series of tax breaks to foreign investors wishing to establish businesses in Ireland, which not only brought jobs to the country but began large amounts of money flowing through society. Although Ireland is now experiencing a slight slump due to the downturn in US markets, it is still one of the strongest economies in the European Union. With this in mind doing business in Ireland means entering into a fairly stable market with good chance of making a profit, depending on the business of course.
