drinking boiled water from the kettle, unless it is absolutely boiling, is actually good for you. it is good for your digestive system and the water is generally better because it is much purer. however drinking water that has come out of the hot tap at your house is not good for you. I don't know w…hy, but I just know that if you have a tummy ache or something, or you're cooking and need to put the vegetables in hot water, or you just want a hot drink, you should not use hot water from the tap. it should be used for washing up and washing your hands and generally washing stuff! I understand that sometimes a lack of acid, as opposed to too much acid, can cause similar reflux-like symptoms. I think my doctor was perhaps too quick to prescribe and not careful enough to consider the alternatives first. I have also read that the acid in lemons is processed by the body in a mann…er different than the acid produced by the digestive system but don't know if this is accurate. However what I do know is that my initial experimentation with lemon juice and going off PPIs (e.g., Nexium, Aciphex, Prilosec etc.) is very promising and I plan to continue with the juice and no PPIs. I'm taking a half a lemon in water first thing each morning and a quarter at night. If you don't like the taste of lemon in water you can add the honey, but I thing that's just for flavor, not an active ingredient in this context, and personally I'm not using honey, I'm just using fresh lemons and water. So simple and in these first days its thus far working better that the PPIs were. If you try this, please also note that you should rinse with plain water or even brush your teeth after drinking the lemon water, as lemon juice is hard on the enamel of your teeth. . Yes, my friend just told me that she and another lady tried lemon juice before breakfast and 1 more at night and by three weeks both were cleared of very bad reflux. When she suggested it to me, I repeatedly ask her why lemon. Isn't lemon acidic? She also told me to add honey if I cannot tolerate. Now I happen to hear the above explanation. Thanks. I will try. She said lemon is akaline? cannot be. Anyway, thanks as I also learn from you about rinsing as I have been trying for 2 weeks and did not think of rinsing. Is our intake too much? Should it be half and quarter instead of 1 and 1? Thanks for the contribution. Not editing the contribution but to confirm what friend said and it amazes me. ( Full Answer )

Yes. The obvious benefits are hydration, warming, vitamin C, and clearing the throat before singing.
Don't put sugar in the honey and lemon. The sugar will sit on thesurface of your skin, feed any bacteria present, and make the acneworse! Try to substitute it with crushed aspirin instead and yourformula should work well!
The energy required to break the interactions between the ionic substances is overcome with higher kinetic energy (warm water). Solids tend to be more soluble as temperature increases.

Salt raises the boiling point of water. The process is known as boiling point elevation. The higher the concentration of salt in the water, the higher the boiling point of water is raised.
No, it can't, assuming you're intending to drink this instead of having a meal. Healthy weight reduction involves eating fewer calories than you burn (or burning more calories than you eat) while still providing the body with the balanced nutrients that it needs, including protein, minerals and vi…tamins, as well as dietary fiber. Honey is a high GI (glucose index) carbohydrate like sugar. It does not provide proteins. Lemon juice does not provide all the vitamins the body needs. It's almost like a diet of sugar water and vitamin C pills. If you really want to lose weight, become more physically active (walking, cycling, etc for several hours per week). Socialize with other physically active people who enjoy running or cycling. More exercise and better eating go together. Don't skip meals, it's counterproductive. Keep you portions modest but make sure you get enough vegetables and lean protein. Cut out fat and simple, high-GI carbohydrates such as sugar, bread, pastries, white rice, etc. Cut down alcohol and sweetened soft drinks. Aim for a slow (1 kg / 2 lb per month) but steady weight drop within a mid to long term time frame such as 6-12 months to make it sustainable. ( Full Answer )

With the lemon juice and hot water detox what exactly are the amounts you put in it how much water how much lemon juice etc and is it all right if I add about a teaspoon of splenda to the mix?
I did the master cleanse a year ago, so similarly I think it's 2 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice to 8 oz of water. That equals to about half of a lemon.
Water is the base ingredient for many foods such as soups or sauces, and it is the base liquid for nearly all non-alcoholic beverages. Coffee, teas, sodas, and ades are all mixed with water to some degree.
when we add the honey to the water and oil it will not mix and there will be 3 layers the bottom layer is the honey then on top of it is the water then the oil
That is a popular way. How effective can not be told. You need to consult the physician for sore throat, specially when you have fever.
Plain lemon juice is a fruit juice, albeit rather acidic like grapefruit juice. It does not count as water. Sucking on lemons can actually deteriorate the enamel of ones teeth. The benefits are very similar to grapefruit juice.
Yes, actually, it does make a mild laxative. Drink enough of it and it will make a great laxative.
the effect is that you now have water lemon and salt in your stomach, 3 completely harmless things, nothing will happen.
Yes, it can be very good. Also, if you are able to use it, a jigger of alcohol (such as rum or bourbon) added will add more cough suppressing power. Alcohol is often a key ingredient in prepared OTC cough medicines.
How do you know it is spoiled? Has it been refrigerated or not? Has the color changed over time? Has the appearance changed over time? Is there mold or other foreign-looking objects inside the bottle? If lemon juice was purchased and refrigerated and has turned sort of brown in color or m…aybe gone a bit cloudy or has sediment on the bottom, it isn't "spoiled" per se, but for pete's sake...it's like $3 for a big bottle of the stuff...chuck what you have and buy a new one! Why take chances? Lemon juice has a low pH (high acidity) and has a harsher environment for contaminants (such as bacteria) to live in. That's why when kept in the fridge, it lasts a lot longer than some other foods. But it can still go bad with time, like all juices. "What are the health effects"? Well, depends if it was actually contaminated with high levels of bacteria or not and how much you drank of it. If you drank a whole bottle of grey/brown thick-as-mud lemon juice...be prepared for a rough day or 2 with effects similar to food poisoning or a stomach flu. Drink lots of water, take it easy and let yourself recover...then don't be so foolish next time. ( Full Answer )
Yes! Lemon juice can be used in hot water. Lemon juice can be used for cooking & drinking!
It is a fact that honey and lemon juice with light hot water after jogging will help reduce fat. Make sure you do not boil the honey just put it in warm water.
It will help the pain, but you need antibiotics to get rid of the strep bacteria. Please don't wait, because the strep bacteria can cause serious medical issues.
None. Well, I suppose technically you would burn some fraction of a calorie in lifting it to your mouth and swallowing it, but you would in the process be consuming far more calories than you had just burned.
No ,as there are natural sugars in fruit, which may affect the accuracy of a glucose blood test.
It's a good detox tonic (especially after eating a fatty or oily meal), and, if fasted on (i.e. eating nothing and just living off of this mix and water) will help mobilize fat and reduce weight. At least, this is the case with just honey and lemon. As for the garlic, it's still an extremely benefic…ial food item. However, an easier increase in garlic intake would be slow-roasting the cloves. They taste like candy! ( Full Answer )
Unsweetened Lemonade. Also a mild acidic solution, depending upon the percentage of Lemon added to water.
It wont do you any harm - apart fromt he risk of scalding if the water is too hot.
Water and honey DO mix. Honey absorbs a certain amount of water. Water will dissolve honey.
The water will dilute the honey and give it a less intense taste. It will not harm you, but you may be disappointed with the taste.
Sure. It's your personal preference. Some dentists suggest that you protect your teeth by brushing your teeth after consuming citrus fruit.
A slice of lemon or a little lemon juice in your glass of water is a very good natural diuretic. The honey ---- only slightly better then eating a few teaspoons of sugar. The best diet is a no-white diet - no sugar, no flour, no white rice or potatoes.
No. If the temperature is mild, there's no danger so long as thewater is clean. That last point is, however, noteworthy as bacteria will thrive inluke-warm water.
When you drink hot or warm water your body doesn't have to warm it up to use it, therefore it goes through your system quicker.
do the cats have any cuts on them? if so i would advise to not spray them this will hurt the cuts making them agitated as i know of if it is not in cuts eyes or behind your cat is safe (not sure about drinking)
No, not really. Lemon water in itself isn't based on how hot it is or what you put into it, but more about your body getting hydrated. Water is anabolic, which means that when your body is in a hydrated state it stimulates fat loss better.
