∙ 14y agoGenocide is - almost by definition - racially (that is, ethically) motivated though there may be other subsidiary motives at work. The Nazi genocide of the Jews was entirely racial. (There was no question of any Jew avoiding the Holocaust by converting to Christianity, for example). Similarly, the Turkish genocide of the Armenians in 1915-17 was racially motivated. For mass murder on other grounds (such as social class) some use the term democide.
