well, it depends a lot.
imagine the 4 of a kind is for all players (the cards for the 4 of a kind came to the table). in this case, the player who has the highest card wins the pot. however, if the highest card is a community card as well, the pot is split, if you happen to have an Ace for example, you will win the pot.
if you have a pocket in your hand and the 2 other cards come to the table then the 5th card won't matter at all, but you always have to play with 5 cards

∙ 10y agoA 52-card deck of cards is made up of 13 different denominations. Cards 2-10, Jacks, Queens, Kings, and Aces. Each card has four different suits (Hearts, Diamonds, Spades, Clubs). In order to get 4-of-a-kind in Poker you have to get all four of the same denomination card. For example, if you had the Queen of Clubs, the Queen of Hearts, the Queen of Diamonds, and the Queen of Spades, you would have 4-of-a-kind.
