she is a vile and malicious character and the grandma of the boys. She is also a killjoy as she doesn't like to see Molly, Tommo or Charlie enjoying themselves and she is also a murderer which is revealed when she murders Big Joe's pet.
she is not shown often, but she has a malicious personality and we are given a stark impression.
Grandma Wolfs character is rather strange because she would normally tend to slap or hit Molly when she came around and did not follow her orders since she was very strict. Also, she wasn't very nice or kind either however she obviously liked Molly more because she thought that Molly was a good influence on the rest of the kids. Furthermore, Grandma Wolf also states in the book that she is extremely ashamed of Charlie, Tommo and Molly for going poaching on the Colonels land. This explains that Grandma Wolf didn't really like the kids anyway and would not have offered to make the situation better like Mother had.
