Adobe After Effects is not quite the same as Sony Vegas Pro. A better comparison would be sony vegas and adobe premiere. After Effects is for doing short VFX in it, and sony vegas and premiere are for editing a clip.
Depends what your doing, generally though, Adobe After Effects is FAR better than Sony Vegas, the effects, transitions, everything pretty much is superior to Vegas, Sony Vegas has been hyped up a lot by everyone, although after effects is slightly harder to use and get the hang of, its MUCH better, I wouldn't recommend however that you start out in Sony Vegas, I did, and now its just much harder to adjust to the features in After Effects.
Just as a note, Sony Vegas is usually reffered to as: Vegas, Vegas Pro, Sony Vegas, SVP.
After Effects is usually reffered to as: AE, After Effects.
Sorry i ment adobe after effects
I would guess, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere, or Sony Vegas.
After effects is harder but definitely more rewarding. Sony Vegas is great for simple editing. If you are looking to create great vfx and implement 3D models into your composition then go with after effects. If you wanna go with some simple basic tools for editing then go with Vegas. After effects has more tools and features but takes more time to learn.
editing progras adobe after effects and sony Vegas pro 8 or 9
Adobe Premiere is designed for professional use, Sony Vegas is easier to use. In most cases, Vegas is a better choice.
Yes! You can use sony vegas, windows movie maker, Imovie, Adobe after effects, adobe premiere, and about every other video editing software.
Well Sony Vegas 9 Has a few More Effects and Transitions.
Vegas is great for its simplicity , but if you want effects and stuff try Adobe After Effects and premier. Particle illusion or a few others, if you know masking though Vegas isn't as limited as people make it out to be.
It depends on what you mean by everything. Adobe after effects is very useful for all sorts of effects and putting videos together. How ever it is very limited as far as sound editing goes. I would recommend sony vegas for putting your video together then putting it into AE for effects.
Yes! Sony Vegas is a good program for editing movies. I have bought this program during Christmas. I had trials for Adobe Premier, Corel Video Studio, and Sony Vegas. In the end I chose Vegas. My school has bought Corel Video Studio and it was not a good decision. I say get Sony Vegas.
* Adobe Acrobat 8 Proffesional * Nero * Sony Vegas * Daemon tools
Sony Vegas (and other video editing software effects/transitions) are not compatible/interchangeable with Windows Movie Maker. The only way to use effects produced on Sony Vegas (or other software application) is by importing the finalized/exported clips which already include the effects on them.
