well when i went to out door ed my naturalist told me mascara was made of bat poop. Guanine is a product that was once extracted from bat guano--they make it synthetically now--that gives a pearly look to all sorts of things. Mascara contains several basic classes of ingredient: colorants to make your lashes pretty film formers to keep it on your lashes waxes to make your lashes thick various other chemicals to keep it liquid, kill germs and all sorts of other useful things.

If your want black then carbon black as your pigment ingredient would be in black mascara. For shades of brown, iron oxide is contained in this makeup.

no, this is extremely silly, and just wastes your mascara. If it says its waterproof mascara, then it is. Try it out, a good mascara is colossal by maybelline, i recommend this mascara

Hydrofuge mascara is waterproof mascara. Sometimes on a mascara bottle the logo on one side will say hydrofuge, while the other side will way waterproof.
That's really up to you. If you have long eye lashes you may like a mascara that adds volume like the lashblast volume blasting mascara or the volumeexact mascara. But if you have short lashes you may like a mascara that adds length like the Lashblast Length mascara or the Lashexact mascara. And of course they all come in a waterproof version.
I am sure there is a way but would the lipstick mascara be a lipstick? Or would it be a unique mascara?
Waterproof mascara is different from regular mascara. Waterproof mascara is made so that if your face gets wet, it won't run as easily. So if you want to go swimming, will be crying a lot, or be in the rain your best bet is to go with waterproof mascara.
