"Winterizing" any vehicle involves only a few simple procedures. You will want to make sure that your battery is good and will work in colder temperatures. You also want to add some lubricant (grease or WD-40) to the battery terminals (the places where the battery cables attach to the battery). Some people go as far as putting a penny (usually by taping) on their battery because it supposedly draws any corrosion to the coin and not the battery terminals. In addition, for some vehicles, a different viscosity of oil is suggested for colder months. Haynes manuals are usually helpful for this type of info.

You also have to make sure the anti-freeze is up to specs.
