∙ 14y agoA cat drinking water is a fascinating sight, but it goes by very quickly. As their tongue darts out, it actually curls backward, drawing the liquid into their mouth like a scoop.
They do not drink with the top of their tongues.
In fact us humans can't do it are selves!
Some of us think...WOW, look at me I can drink like a cat! But we can't curl are tongues backwards,
even if we tried, so hard we died! :)

It's almost like how an elephant sucks up water and then squirts it in their mouth.
