Italicized print is changed in angle and pitch to appear differently from normal text. For Wikianswers, the letter I in the format bar selects the italic font.

NORMAL FONT - This is the normal font for the answers.

ITALICIZED FONT - This is italicized font for the answers.

Italicize text is slanted to the right with a slight curve to each letter, rather than being upright. It is commonly used to emphasize or draw attention to specific words or phrases in a block of text.
