Aussie: Native of Australia. Kiwi: Native of New Zealand.

It should be noted that a Kiwi is not a native of New Zealand. The native people of New Zealand, the Maori, find it offensive to be termed "kiwis". Kiwi are small, Flightless Birds. The term is sometimes used for the non-native people of New Zealand, but never for the native peoples.

What is the difference between a baby kiwi and an adult kiwi?

A baby kiwi is a smaller version of an adult. It can feed itself within a few days of hatching, and it often leaves its parents to find its own territory when it is 4-6 weeks old, although Southern Tokoeka may stay with the parent for up to 5 years. Another major difference is that baby kiwi feed both during the day and the night, unlike their nocturnal parents. This makes them more vulnerable to predation.
