Stitches and staples are two methods by which a wound may be closed.
staples
Different doctors use different methods. The staples or stitches used can either dissolve or be removed after the penis is healed.
Surgical glue is now often used instead of conventional stitches. It leave no marks, as stitches or staples do.
You can get your pet a cone for around$10-$15, it will prevent dog from licking stitches. (My dog licked her stitches and got 4 staples with no anesthesia)
it depends on how deep the wound is. normally they will use stitches if the wound is small and deep but they use staples if the wound is bigger but not as deep. also staples are newer and supposed to be less painful then stitches. it also depends on where your wound is. normally they staple wounds on the head and stitch on your limbs. hope this helped?
This term is used in surgery. The person may have dissolving stitches inside before they stitch (or they may use staples or surgical tape depending on the incision) and the internal stitches will simply dissolve in time.
I have to guess--Nobody. Stitches were used from the earliest days as an adaptation from cloth and animal skin sewing. The jaws of ants were applied to wounds too. This is nearly the same as staples.
Staples are commonly used in wound repair instead of typical stitches where the tissue is jagged and or missing. Stitches are usually used on clean straight insicions where are the tissue being repaired can be accounted ofr. Staples are stronger and tear less generally so when some of the flesh is missing they use them to pull the edges together to aid in the new growth of skin.
it would be better if it didn't because the stitches might come off.
If you Cast On 5 stitches .. then knit 3 of the 5 that you just cast on .. then yarn over ( this will make a stitch) .. then knit the next 2 stitches .. you will have 6 stitches instead of 5 stitches you cast on because you yarned over one .. you just read it differently then they meant .. after the word knit 2 replace the word"to" with " then you will have" 6 ..
Depends on what/how you mean. If you managed to accidentally get staples stuck in your head, yes you are looking at a fair world of hurt getting them pulled out, though the doctor will likely administer a local anesthetic to help a little bit. However, if you are referring to medical staples (which are sometimes used rather than stitches) they won't be significantly uncomfortable to remove.
Usually you will have subcutaneous sutures placed to close the holes through which the cameras and laparoscopic tools were placed in order to do your surgery. You should not see the sutures, and they will absorb on their own. You may see steri-strips, which are used to provide some extra support to the subcutaneous sutures and protect the incision. Other surgeons may have other practices, however.
