Heater blower resistor is what controls the low medium high speeds...
just a guess because im not positive but may be in center of firewall. that's where they are on 95 and newer. you can do it yourself but its hard to get at.
It appears your blower motor is not working correctly on your 1980 Cadillac Coupe Deville. The vents are for both AC and heat. You may also be losing vacuum pressure. If you cannot find the source, your mechanic can help you do so.
If you are asking about the blower you only have one that controls both the heater and the a/c............
it's best to get a new blower and replace it. you have to access it from under the hood about half way across the firewall there will be an access panel that has to be reomved. it takes about 2 hrs. if you are mechanically inclined go for it.
Check to see if you are getting power to the blower motor - if so motor is defective if not problem in circuitry to blower motor
AnswerCheck the fuse box that is under the dash there should be a listing of what fuse is for what. There is also a fuse box under the hoodnope, that fuse is under the hood on the driver side fender-well. black plastic-pop the cover it's marked underneath the cover.
comes out inside . remove glovebox and go in that way . about one hour .
if its under the dash by your feet its the heater core is bad
short circuit in the circuit

Try asking this question again calling it a blower resistor.
Behind glovebox in heater housing...remove glovebox and picture will form....
No. An AC/heater control module is a computer that controls and automates the operation of the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems (HVAC).The blower resistor enables the blower motor to change the speed of the fan.
try replaceing the switch that controls the low to high for heater It's gonna be the blower motor resistor (near the blower motor).
have you checked the fuse if so then you will need to replace the resistor for the blower hig and low dettings have you checked the fuse do you have 12 volts to blower if so then you will need to replace the resistor for the blower replace the blower motor
