Oxycodone is the main ingredient in many our pharmacuetical friends; such as percocet, percodan, and of course everyone's favorite--OxyContin! Oxycodone is an opiate, that means it was derived from opium, which comes from a natural growing flower called the "opium poppy." This natural flower has been healing primitive peoples and treating their pain for generations, and through the powers of the magical pharmacist, we can now bring this to you in pill form Because of its healing powers, opium has been derived into many different pharmacuetical medications, such as; morphine, codeiene, oxycodone, and her sister, hydrocodone! (One fuzes with oxygen, the other with hydrogen-- can you guess who??) However, not all opiates are made in pharmacuetical labs nor are they intended to be used to heal people. Substances like black tar, china white, and brown sugar from your local skagg dealer are all forms of Heroin. Heroin is also a member of the opiate family, but he does not heal people like the others, and you cannot pick him up from Pharmacist. You can think of him as oxycodones evil uncle-- kiddies should stay away from Uncle H! So, basically oxycodone is an opiate that uses the magical healing properties of the opium poppy, which can work to numb your pain and make you feel alright! One must be careful though, since many preparations, particularly the popular percocet, are fused with high doses of acetemenephin, which when taked in excess can cause severe liver and kidney damage, or even death. My rule of thumb is-- never take more than 10 pills a day. if you need more, look into a product without the harmful toxin, like our good friend OxyContin!

If ive been taking oxycodine 7.5 for two years how much methadone should i start taking per dosage to get off of oxycodine?

Don't take methadone it is very addictive and way stronger. Suboxone is way better and safer for coming of oxycodone. With Suboxone you would only have to take 2-4 mg.

Oxycodine or Percocet which is stronger?

I think you mean oxycodone. Percocet IS oxycodone (5mg) and acetaminophen (325mg). So youre question can't be answered.

Walgreen's does not have oxycodine 5 mg.where can i get it?

If you mean oxycodone, aka OxyContin, it doesn't come in 5mg in the US, only 10, 20, 80 & 160. If your doctor said to take 5mg, you can get a pill splitter and split the 10's.

Why is oxycodine so addictive what does it contain that they call it a street drug?

Oxycodone (known also as oxy, oxycontin, roxy, etc.) is an opioid analgesic. Oxycodone acts on opioid receptors, similar to heroin and morphine. Oxycodone is very addictive because of its euphoriant properties, and due to the exceedingly unpleasant withdrawal symptoms that occur after prolonged use.

What is the difference between oxycodine and oxycontine?

First, I'm assuming you are referring to Oxycodone (Oxycodine is a common misspelling of Oxycodone). To answer your question they are the same drug... Oxycontin contains Oxycodone, the only difference being that Oxycontin is designed as a time-released version of Oxycodone over 8-12 hours. Oxycontin pills go as high as 160mg per dose. That is why people overdose so easily on Oxycontin when they are chewed up and swallowed or crushed to snort/inject. The high dose hits them all at once rather than being released over several hours. This can be very lethal unless the individual has already been taking the drug for a while and their body has built a sufficient tolerance to it.

You mixed Oxycontin with oxycodine is that going to kill you?

The only difference between the two are in the way they are bound. Oxycontin is nothing more than time released Oxycodone. Contin coming from the word "continuous" as in continuous release. Just as MS Contin is Morphine Sulphate (continuous realease). They are deffinitely interchangable. At least that's what my doctor told me when I was prescribed both together..... BG
