Generally causes body systems to relax to conserve energy.

Its responsible for stimulation of <rest and digest> or <feed and breed> activities during the time when the body is at rest. These includes salivation, sweating, lacrimation, urination, digestion or sexual arousal. Its a funtion opposite to sympathetic nervous system.
