WoW or World of Warcraft is an interactive rpg game, where people are able to interact with other's all accross the world, as well as entertain themselves with 'quests' and other activities. The characters start out with level 1 then as you play you reach higher and higher levels which is partially what entices people to go farther. I personally believe this game can be addictive, especially the auction house and the Darkmoon Faire. The fact of the matter is, an individual is able to escape the stresses of this reality and fall into a fantasy reality where they can travel anywhere, make as much money as they want easily, buy stuff, talk and meet others with their same interests and have fun. Before I started playing I thought it was stupid, but I do love wow.
There is no world of warcraft 3. There is world of warcraft, and warcraft 3. Unless you want to refer to Cataclysm. If so then no, you'd fail.
You don't have to have a special account, but you have to of made a regular World of Warcraft account and have the Burning Crusade with an unused authentication key.
