The Nikon 70 300mm is said to be the best compromise for its size, weight, range and quality of image in comparison to the Nikon 38 300mm. It contains close focus, 67mm filters and weighs at 745g. It doesn't need a tripod to focus, and features auto focus abilities, it contains the very best tele zoom lens. It is selling for around $587.
The Nikon Coolpix is rated 3 1/2 stars out of 5, however, it does depend on the model that you are looking at. They are marketed as a good, everyday camera for all ages. They run around $70 so they are very affordable.
I think so
It's used to increase the focal length of a lens. There are two types you can get a x1.4 and x2. If you place the x2 between the camera and a 300mm lens, then you end up with a 600mm lens - but it will cost you 2 stops of exposure, so the autofocus may well stop working.
Yes, you can. Nikon uses Nikon F-mount to connect the lens to the camera. Sometimes other manufacturers change their mount, but Nikon never did, so you can still even use analog lenses.
A termite = 5mm, so 60 termites = 5mm x 60 = 300mm. One meter = 1000mm, so 300mm / 1000mm = .3m
v = area of base * h = pi*r^2 * h so v = pi*15mm^2 * 300mm which can be done on a calculator.
A Nikon EM has a standard Nikon mount, so you can use any lens that'll fit on a Nikon, except for a Nikon Series G lens, on an EM. A Series G will fit but it won't work because there's no aperture ring.
No special type, and so without a special name.
The D40 has less megapixels but is better at high isos, so is more sensitive.
the game is supposed to be $60 normally so for special edition would be about $70-$80
Sony makes great stuff, but Nikon primarily builds cameras. I'd go with the company known for cameras: Nikon. Agree that Nikon beats Sony. You might want to also look into Canon, as they are often rated higher than Nikon. It just depends on your needs, I guess. We just got a Nikon digital SLR and we LOVE it!! It has taken the best pictures ever. We were debating between the Canon and the Nikon and have been really pleased with the Nikon D90 so far.
i have the nikon D3100 and i love it there are so many options etc
