something interesting, huh? Well, let me see... Giraffes have special One Way valves in their neck so that when they drink, all of the blood in it's body doesn't flow to its head. That way it can drink for many hours. I would like to add on to his/hers. Giraffes can spend over an hour making sure there are no lions (their main predator) around, because when they lean down to drink is their weakest position. This is one of the very few times a lion will dare to approach an adult giraffe. A giraffes favorite food comes from the Acacia tree (Check my spelling on that one). One blow from the kick of a giraffe can kill a lion. They run about 35 miles per hour. When males fight, they do so by swinging their heads and necks at the other. I believe females grow to be 17-19 feet tall. that's all I can think of from the top of my head =)
they are special because they are tall and pretty
It has a very long neck that it uses to reach the leaves of trees and gobble them up. ^_^
i think that it is weird but interesting the way it sleeps with its neck sideways on the ground lol
its horn things are called ossicones
its long neck and its legs
The spots are unique to each giraffe, like a fingerprint, and vary in number and shape.
The Giraffe Seahorse is called that because of their unique look to the coronet (which in my guess is a piece of bone or of their bony armour that is on the top of there head or above the eye) which resembles a giraffe's horns.
As you can see, giraffes are very unique and interesting animals.
The world record for the highest number of spots counted on a giraffe is 2,057, held by a giraffe named Omo in Australia. Omo’s unique spot pattern has made her not only famous but also a valuable asset in the field of giraffe research.
animals are not really that different than human beings. like we have different finger prints, they have different markings. no other giraffe has the same. human beings all look different and all animals lokk different. hope that helps!!!!
Some good ones are the Elephant or Giraffe or Zebra or Lion etc... There are a lot of them in Kenya.
There are six; Reticulated Giraffe Masai Giraffe Rothschild Giraffe South African Giraffe Thornicroft Giraffe Nigerian Giraffe
It seems incredible, but they look like giraffes.
The animal's company in Roald Dahl's "The Giraffe and the Pelly and Me" is called "The Ladderless Window-Cleaning Company." This quirky group of animals, consisting of a giraffe, pelican, and monkey, form a unique business that specializes in window cleaning without the need for ladders.
a giraffe is taller
There are 6 different types of giraffes. The West African giraffe, the Rothschild giraffe, the reticulated giraffe, masai giraffe, angolan giraffe and South African giraffe. Hope I could help!
