I'm not sure about CO but when I started as a cashier in MN i made $7.50. I moved to cashiering in the pharmacy and got an extra 25 cents. Then a couple dollars increase as a pharmacy technician and an extra dollar when I got certified.
It is a fairly sure bet that the starting wage for any NEW employee at a Target store would be whatever the minimum wage is for the state the store is in. Of course this is going to vary widely by state. Learn the minimum wage of the state you live in and you will have a definitive answer. The only exception to this might be in a case where a new employee started in an advanced position such as management or maybe department head, relative to their experience.
The Target I work at in the Columbus Area starts at $7.75. I don't recommend working for Target. Raises are once a year and average 5 to 20 cents.
