the liver stores glygogen, which are long chains of sugars, filters blood, and makes bile. bile is stored in the gallbladder and whem digesting food enters the bladder,the bile breaks down globulals into little drops suspended in a milkey fluid

  • Make certain amino acids (the building blocks of proteins)
  • Filter harmful substances from the blood (such as alcohol)
