Its a factory security number to prevent the filchering of the radio The codes vary from BMW radio to radio depending on the serial number located on the back of the radio. If you lose battery power, the radio resets itself (supposedly to prevent theft) and a 6 digit code needs to be input into the radio to re-activate it. You need to take the BMW to your local dealer and they'll remove the radio, input the serial # into their system and it will relay what the 6 digit code is. Hope this helps.

there are buttons on the face of the radio itself that are numbered 1 thru 5, and your car would have come from the factory with a 5 digit radio code, if you can locate the small book that is for the radio someone should have made a record of it on the inside cover, otherwise there is no way of putting the code in unless you already have the 5 digit number, the number was given to the original owner in the form of a card for a wallet from what I hear.

if you have the code you should put the 4 digit code in the radio by pushing the radio # buttons then push power

As far as I know it has a 5 digit code. Go to the link I will post and register your Accord and you can get the radio code for free. Click the link and then click register.

My code was on a sheet in the glove box. Turn the radio on and an error code will be visible. Try 4362 on the radio keypad allowing time for each digit to enter. If it works, the radio will automatically come on after the last digit is entered. Good Luck!

Turn the radio off and then while holding down numbers 1 and 6 turn the radio back on. This will display the 10 digit radio serial number 5 digits at a time. Each 5 digit code will flash 3 times alternately. If you do not have your radio code you will want to write these numbers down so that you can contact the dealer and obtain your radio code. After the radio serial code has cycled your radio should now read CODE prompting you for the radio code. Once you enter the 5 digit code the radio should work. Of course your presets have been wiped out so you'll need to reset those.

run the car for a hour and then turn the key to the on position and push the number 2 and 3 button on radio and it will give you a four digit code. Write it down you will need this to get your next code to put in the radio for it to work

You enter the 5 digit code by pressing the radio presets. As there is no 8 on the radio presets the code cannot contain the number 8. To find out what your code actually is go to the Honda Owners website and register your Honda. After registering it you can get the code there by clicking Retrieve Radio/Navi code under quick links. http://owners.honda.com

You can go to the dealer and get your radio code. The dealer has all the radio codes for mercedes. When you receive your code, turn on your car and punch in the code the dealer gave you on the factory radio.

You must insert the 5 digit code in the radio. Use the radio preset buttons to do this. If you do not have the code then you will have to get the serial # off the radio. With that serial # any Honda dealer will be able to supply the code.

By using the radio preset buttons to insert the 5 digit code. If you do not have the code click the link, sign up at the Honda Owner's Link, and then click get radio code.

Hi there. The radio code for the the Nexia is obtained from the serial number of the unit. You need to remove the radio, look for the serial number label on the side, then take the8th digit, followed by the 6th digit, followed by the 4th digit, followed by the 2nd digit. For example, my serial number is 60721203, which makes my unlocking code 3220 which worked a treat. Happy listening!

Radio/Cassette ONLY Switch on the radio and "CODE" appears. Press pre-set button 1. Press either the up or down tunning button until the first digit of the code appears in the display. Press pre-set 1 to store the first digit in the memory. Use either tunning button to select the second digit of the code [until the correct digit appears]. Press pre-set 1 to store second digit. Repeat for the third and forth digit, the display now shows the full four digit code. Press pre-set 1 to store the final digit. if the correct code was inputed the radio will now work!!

When you purchased your vehicle, you should have received a card that lists the four-digit security code for the radio. If you do not have this you have to call the dealer and give them the serial number of the radio to get the code.

You will need to insert the 5 digit code in order for the radio to work. If you do not have the code, the you have no choice but to get the serial # off the radio and go to a Honda dealer. With the serial # they can tell you the code. You must remove the radio in order to see the serial #. Look in the glove box, owners manual, etc for a small card with the code on it. Also look in the owners manual for a 5 digit code written down somewhere. Good luck.

Take out your radio and on the underside of it there should be a 4 digit code. If it hasn't got one then it probably isn't an original radio. This code is usually used when the battery has been disconnected.
