I would say either an hp or Dell,they have some good laptops and dell offers
cool designs and colors for the outside skin. If your willing to spend more money you
should go with a macbook. But i personally don't think a 13 year old kid should have
a macbook. Check out Dell.com and Hp.com and you can narrow your choices down
there. I am getting either a hp or Dell. It mainly depends on what you would use it
for.

∙ 15y agoProbably the White one. You can get it on Amazon.com for less than $1000 and they're pretty good (they also now have NVIDIA graphics). If you don't mind spending a little more, however, the unibody MacBook has a few extra neat things like a multi-touch mousepad, superior speakers, and an LED display.

∙ 14y agoApple MacBook (not a MacBook Pro, that is overkill). They are affordable when purchased through eBay, just need to be patient and buy the one that is right for you (set up with all the software you want).

can get a virus easily. A mac does not have any known virus.
