follow in his way for he is not god for he was the word of the way of life "There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel's, but he shall receive a hundred fold now in this time" (Mark x, 29, 30). "Who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good?" (1 Peter iii, 13.) "For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light" (Matthew xi, 30). "In the world ye shall have tribulation" (John xvi, 33). "Ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake" (Luke xxi, 17). "Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution" (2 Tim. iii, 12). "For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth" (Hebrews xii, 6).
There is no earthly reward for being a Christian. Natural disasters are just as likely to befall the most pious Christians, and even cathedrals have fallen to earthquakes and storm damage. Christians are neither to be more lucky in love or fortune than non-Christians. There may be rewards beyond earth for those who follow Jesus, but we do not know - it is just a matter of faith.
Christians, are those who follow Jesus Christ.
Jesus became a carpenter because his earthly father, Joseph, was a carpenter; and it was customary in those days for a son to follow his father's profession.
Those who follow and obey his teachings and messages.
Jesus allowed any one and everone who wanted to follow him, to follow him.
No one actually knows whether Jesus had earthly parents. The Bible is the only source that confirms Mary and Joseph as parents, but those are names without historical backing.
A source of inspiration for those that believe and follow him.
Jesus loved and still loves many things: his friends on earth eg. Lazarus, his earthly mother and father, his father God in Heaven. And today Jesus still loves all the people of the earth including the Romans who crucified him, the people who mock him, those who don't know anything about him, those who wonder who he is and those who have invited him to be their God. To say it simply, Jesus loves everyone!
Follow Jesus! Couldn't have said it better! There are NO Laws of Christianity (maybe the Ten Commandments) but other than those, just stay pure to what the Bible says and follow Jesus!
The origin of Christianity is not really mentioned and it is from the time of Jesus and the Pentecost. First Christian is those who follow Jesus his apostles and disciples.
The true father of Jesus is God, the Heavenly Father. His earthly father was Joseph, husband of Mary. The plan was hatched in Heaven after mankind sinned against God back in the Garden of Eden. With this disobedience, mankind, who was meant to be immortal, was suddenly mortal and not worthy of God's blessings. In a last-ditch effort for redemption, God sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, to die as a payment for the sins of mankind. Jesus died so all people had the chance to choose for themselves, to serve and love our Creator and His son Jesus and live as we were always intended to, or choose earthly pleasures and follow the fallen angel, Satan. As always, the chose is ours, free will proves that we are not God's puppets. Those who choose to follow God do so out of love and gratitude, not because they have been pre-programmed to do so. The rewards will be many, an eternity with a loving Father, His only Son, our mediator, we never have to face the Father alone. Jesus is always standing by us when we are judged either worthy or unworthy. Jesus tells us in the bible that the only way to the Father is through the Son. So for those that don't believe or refuse to live by God's law, and ask Jesus to be their personal saviour, those will be lost forever. The bible tells us that as wonderful as Heaven is, Hell will that that horrible, beyond human comprehension.
'Disciples' can follow ANYone.A 'disciple' is a taught one, a learner, a pupil. If you're speaking of Jesus' disciples, then it was JESUS that they followed. They were 'footstep followers' of Christ. When Jesus died, they followed what Jesus had taught them, as well as observing those who knew him best and patterned their lives after Jesus.(1 Corinthians 11:1).Then, as today, we have principles and laws, a clear record of Jesus' life, and the life of his apostles, as well as the Hebrew scriptures, outlining those who found favor with God and those who did not, so we can have a very good idea HOW to be loyal to God, and CONTINUE to be disciples of Jesus.
A disciple is a student. All those that follow the teachings of Jesus and strive to learn from him are his disciples.
He was in danger through His entire earthly life/ministry - Herod tried to kill Him while He was still an infant, and His life was always in danger from those who were angered by His preaching and other things. He was finally killed by those who hated Him.
True christians who follow Jesus Christ are going to heaven as Jesus went to heaven. Hell is for those who reject the free salvation that was offered by the sacrificial death of Jesus by their life.
Jesus Christ promised Heaven repeatedly throughout the New Testament to those who believe in Him and follow His commandments. Those who believe that Jesus Christ is God, know that He would not promise anything that isn't real.
There are many ways to follow Jesus footsteps. - Follow the 10 Commandments - Go to church montly - Behave well - Be nice to everyone - Respect everyone - Pray daily By saying those things I am barely scratching the surface of how to live more like Jesus.
Jesus knew that because people hated Him and His teachings, persecution and and other forms of hatred would always be directed towards those who follow Him.
She knew this is what God and jesus would od to help the people and decided to follow in their footsteps
Christians need to know about Jesus as their savior, as that is the basis of their religion. Those who follow other religions, or none at all, do not need to know what Christians believe.
A veterinarian gets awards. those rewards are getting prommoted to more hours or more earnings
As long as you try to follow the teachings that you learn from the words of Jesus which are not necessarily those of the church you should be fine.
Its impossible to speak for every single person but generally those who follow the Judaism religion (including those who were around during the times of the Holocaust) believe in the Abrahmic God but only see Jesus as a profit, not as the messiah. So no.
There are many followers of Jesus Christ who come to him in many different ways, but not necessarily chosen of him. Jesus talks of those who want to follow him, thus: Luke 9.23. And he said to [them] all, If any [man] will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.
