How do you format a PSP memory card?

You can format any size Memory Stick Duo in the

Sony PSP by doing this: 1. Push the little HOME button on the bottom left of the face of the unit. 2. Use the arrow keys to move to the SETTINGS area, then move the up and down keys until you get to System Settings. 3. Once you are there, click on the "X" button and

scroll up and down as needed to find Format Memory Stick. Click on "X" again to select that option. 4. The Sony PSP will now confirm that you want to

reformat the memory stick (which removes every

file and game save thereon, of course): choose yes and it'll format in just a few seconds. Now you have a pristine new Memory Stick to work

with and should have no problems with music,

photos or other material you might seek to copy

onto your PSP.

Put your memory stick into your computer then a box will appear click on open folder then go to your file that you want to put on your memory stick.Then click the right button on the mouse and click copy then go back on to your memory stick and click the right button then click paste!

Insert the Pendrive in to the USB slot on the Laptop/Computer

Go to Start menu, then 'My Computer'

You should see your Pendrive under 'Devices with Removable Storage'

Right click the Pendrive and click 'format'

A menu should appear, tick 'Quick Format'

Then click 'Start'

Now your Pendrive should be formatted

It depends what kind of PSP you have. For PSP 1000, 2000 and 3000 series, you have to open the storage area on the top left corner of your PSP then push in on it and it will pop out. I'm not 100% sure on PSP Go's though so I'm not going to say anything.
