You can format any size Memory Stick Duo in the
Sony PSP by doing this: 1. Push the little HOME button on the bottom left of the face of the unit. 2. Use the arrow keys to move to the SETTINGS area, then move the up and down keys until you get to System Settings. 3. Once you are there, click on the "X" button and
scroll up and down as needed to find Format Memory Stick. Click on "X" again to select that option. 4. The Sony PSP will now confirm that you want to
reformat the memory stick (which removes every
file and game save thereon, of course): choose yes and it'll format in just a few seconds. Now you have a pristine new Memory Stick to work
with and should have no problems with music,
photos or other material you might seek to copy
onto your PSP.
Put your memory stick into your computer then a box will appear click on open folder then go to your file that you want to put on your memory stick. Then click the right button on the mouse and click copy then go back on to your memory stick and click the right button then click paste!
HOPE YOU HAVE A SUCCESSFUL TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It depends what kind of PSP you have. For PSP 1000, 2000 and 3000 series, you have to open the storage area on the top left corner of your PSP then push in on it and it will pop out. I'm not 100% sure on PSP Go's though so I'm not going to say anything.
Look 4 format memory stick
simple as.
this will erase everything. if that's what u meant.
format basically means to delete everything from card. It is a process not a specific kind of card.
put it in the side
it erases everything on your memory stick
It eraces everything on the card and makes the psp's folders for music, videos and all of the other folders.
Yes, But you must Format the memory card. You can do this by inserting it in the PSP then go to Settings/ System Settings/ Format Memory Stick This will delete everything on the memory card and make folders for the PSP. Basically it formats it so that the PSP knows where everything is such as MUSIC, VIDEOS, or PICTURES. Again it will work at no risk. But I'm warning you it will delete everything on the memory card so if it's your camera's memory card you might want to transfer the Files to another storage device or computer.
