Wilt Chamberlain holds the record for most points scored in an NBA game. On March 2, 1962, he scored 100 points for the Philadelphia Warriors against the New York Knicks. Well actually he scored 100 but then he scored 101 later in his career.
David Robinson of the Navy Midshipmen owns the record for most points scored in Rupp Arena. He scored 45 points on January 1st, 1987. Kentucky won the game, 80-69
