1 US dollar (USD) is worth about 50 Phillipine pesos (PHP), as at Feb 18, 2009.

Of course, if you are in a country which only accepts PHPs, and you want to buy something, and you have both PHPs and dollars, and you are unable to exchange the dollars anywhere, then your PHPs would be of more value to you than your dollars.
