Callisto is a moon of the planet Jupiter, discovered in 1610 by Galileo Galilei. It is the third-largest moon in the Solar System and the second largest in the Jovian system, after Ganymede. Callisto has about 99% the diameter of the planet Mercury but only about a third of its mass

Cruithne was at first believed to be a moon of Earth, and thus has been referred to as "Earths second moon".

However, further investigation, showed that Cruithne, was in fact an asteroid with a 1:1 orbital resonance with Earth (or quasi satellite) - which gave it the impression that it was orbiting Earth. Whereas Cruithne orbits the Sun and not the Earth.
