Chikku Bukku Chikku Bukku is a Tamil movie under production with the rythmic sound of a moving train. The Movie is being produced by Mediaone Global Entertainment pvt ltd. Tamil actor Arya who has experienced a colossal success critically and commercially with his role of an Aghori in ''Naan Kadavul " plays the lead role. His latest look in Sarvam has pronounced him as the new hearthrob of Chennai. Bollywood Actress Vidya Balan was initially being considered for the lead role but was later replaced by Preetika , who is a fresh new face from Mumbai. Preetika, is the younger sister of Bollywood Super Star Amrita Rao, and makes her debut into the cinema industry with this film. Preetika is also a qualified journalist currently writing for Bangalore Mirror and has her movie column with the prestigious Chennai based movie magazine called "South Side" . Geneila was earlier considered for the role that has now been offered to Shriya Saran due to the latter's insistence for a relatively high salary. Director Manigandan is directing the film, renewing his collabaration with Mediaone Global Entertainment Ltd following their work in ''[[Dhaam Dhoom]]''. Cinematographer Thamizh makes his debut with this film. The movie has songs by " Colonial Cousins". While Arya and Preetika have already completed their first schedule for the movie, it is now confirmed that Shriya Saran starts shooting for the movie only in May end or June.
