your Winchester model 1892 was made in 1896. this makes it a antique rifle and the value is running between 700-2,500 dollars depending on condition and if it is a takedown model you could add 25% to the above listed values. It would make sense to have your Winchester appraised buy a pro.

Made in1902. You did not describe any details about it. Without a better description all I can tell you is if you have a standard 1892, it can range from a few hundred to a few thousand.

No way of saying without a detailed description of your rifles amount of original finish remaining, type of barrel, any other special order features present, and the serial number to age your rifle. All these items have a bearing on the value of your Winchester.

We need to know the model, possibly the serial number, and definitely the CONDITION to estimate a value. 30 WCF just tells us what ammunition to buy for it.

User Avatar

100-1000 or more depending on specifics

The 30 Winchester Center Fire (WCF) is the same as the 30-30 cartridge

I recently purchased an 1892 Winchester 32/20 Octagon Barrel FFL. It is in very good condition, and was purchased at an auction organized by the Burley Auction Group, out of New Braunfels, Texas (BURLEYAUCTION.COM). The amount of my purhcase was $750.00. My rifle has a serial number of 185231. Hope this is some help to you.

I cannot date this Winchester without a serial number. The serial number also plays into the value of the rifle because there are 2 value,s based on the years of production along with many other factors.

User Avatar

Manufacture date is 1912. Value depends on the exact model (there were five different ones) and the condition. The range is from $200 for poor condition on a sporting rifle to $7500 for a musket in VG condition. Have it professionally appraised or inspected by an advanced Winchester collector.
